I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor/Licensed Mental Health Associate in Illinois and Indiana.
I graduated from Governors State University with my Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in LGBTQ+ issues and Multicultural awareness. Since, I have expanded my knowledge on LGBTQ+, gender-expansive, non-monogamous and poly+ folx, and sex positive related counseling issues through additional education and work within the community.
Additionally, I am a contracted by one of North America's largest Employee Assistance Programs, and am knowledgeable and comfortable in providing career and work stress assistance.
I've worked with adult individuals across a spectrum, providing a safe space to explore life challenges and changes, including anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and general life changes.
My approach to therapy is fundamentally collaborative, affirming, and person-centered. I am here to meet you where you're at so we can make steps down your personal path together. I want to help you to better understand your own feelings, thoughts, behaviors, and means of coping to move you toward feeling more like your authentic self.
I offer compassionate and non-judgmental therapy, where we will explore both your struggles and successes, learning together how you want to move through life.
